My Opinion About Mona-Vie™ (Update) PDF Print E-mail
Written by Dr. Edward Zimmer

MonavieBottleO.K., every time I write about multi-level marketing products I get email after email from distributors telling me how I am wrong about their product (no matter what the product happens to be) and how that product helped them in their lives. Let me make it clear from the start, if you think you got a benefit from drinking any type of nasty-tasting multi-level marketing juice; I am happy for you! But, I try to deal with facts and logic; not emotionally and financially charged testimonials. With that said, what is my opinion about Mona-Vie? I will share only two points of logic with you.

I will start with a very simple question. Do you really think that there is ANYTHING that could lower blood pressure, cure Diabetes, decrease cholesterol, cure stroke symptoms, cure heartburn, solve sleep problems, detoxify your body, increase immune system function, stop Rheumatoid arthritis, cure cancer, make you lose weight, get rid of back pain, stop depression, and greatly increase your energy? These are only a FEW of the sensational claims made by those drinking Mona-Vie. Most of these supposed curing effects happened in just days or weeks! If you believe that one product could provide ALL of these benefits, I think that you are the Webster’s definition of gullible: Easily deceived or cheated.

If you logically decide, like I have, that there is no way that any product could provide all of these incredible cures you have to ask yourself what is going on. Do you think that these people are lying? Is it simply a placebo effect? Many of my patients know that I commonly say if you were to passionately tell a group of people that they would feel better after getting a Twinkie enema, many in fact would stand up in front of God and man to tell them how much better they felt afterwards. This would be especially true if the people getting the enema knew that they could potentially make lots of money if they really believed in the claims being spouted by the person telling them to sit on the Twinkie! Crude, I know. But, it illustrates just how people will believe even the most absurd claims when they have a desire for something to work.

My second point of logic deals with the nature of the business that is Mona-Vie. It is a multi-level marketing company. In other words, it is a company that has ONE purpose and that purpose is to make money. Now, they want you to believe that making money is only secondary to helping people with their health, but do not be fooled by this deception. The bottom line is that it is very expensive to provide high quality, standardized extracts for supplements. It is much easier and much less expensive to not run the needed tests and analyses to ensure that a product has exactly what is claimed. Notice that the bottle of Mona-Vie does not tell you exactly how much of each of the 19 fruits are found in the formula. They simply tell you that it is a proprietary blend. Do you actually believe that a profit driven multi-level marketing company would sacrifice profits to spend the extra money needed (quite a bit of extra money) to ensure that their product contained the highest quality and grade of extracts in their product? If so, they would then know exactly how much of each extract was in their product and they would PROUDLY list the individual amounts on the label since they would have spent the money to find out that information. Quit fooling yourself. There is no way that any profit-driven company would lose money in order to provide you with a product that would be better for your health when they could get away with giving you a nasty-tasting fruit juice that would work as well as a Twilight Twinkie.

This is what I think about Mona-Vie. I look forward to all of the emails.
